DMCA Policy

Housethetic respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we respond to valid takedown notices and will remove infringing content as required by law.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

Please note: Submitting a false claim may result in legal consequences. Only submit a takedown request if you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of one.

3. Counter Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter notification including:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled, and its original location.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your region and will accept service of process from the original complaining party.

We will forward your counter notice to the original complainant. If they do not respond within 10 business days, we may restore the content.

4. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Housethetic has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
